Once battling chronic asthma and sinus issues, Tamika reversed her symptoms and ditched her inhaler within two weeks of embracing a plant-based lifestyle inspired by What the Health. Drawing from her own transformation, she encourages others to embrace inner wellness and try nourishing foods without pressure or perfection.

Tamika is also the owner of the award-winning e-boutique Standout Style, author of Standout Style: The Shopping + Style Guide for Real Women, and a nationally featured fashion stylist as seen on TV and in print. She transitioned her boutique from brick-and-mortar to online after five years to prioritize caregiving for her mother living with dementia. During that pivotal season, she launched Plant-Based Tamika—a sanctuary for preparing her favorite comfort foods plant-based and sharing authentic stories about caregiving, faith, and more. She is also the creator and host of the Clean Slates Clean Plates podcast, a faith-rooted series that combines heartfelt spiritual conversations with vibrant, plant-based eating.

With a thriving online community of over 150,000 followers, a mission grounded in authenticity, and a talent for delivering warm, motivating presentations, Tamika engages her audiences by helping them feel acknowledged, empowered, and ready to take meaningful steps toward wellness in all areas of life—free from guilt or the need for perfection.
