Tantalizing Eats at B’Gabs in Hyde Park

It had been a minute since I had been to B’Gabs Vegan Scratch Kitchen in Hyde Park, so I slid through for some tantalizing eats and good vibes.

This neighborhood spot features a variety of vegan eats from raw menu items to some cheesy, saucy junk food eats. Gabrielle, the owner is passionate about what she does and it shows. Whether it is through the from-scratch menu offerings, grab and go cooler items, fresh produce and grocery items they carry, B'Gabs is surely a community-focused establishment.

Here’s what I enjoyed:

Marley’s Love Kale Salad (raw, gluten-free) - This is the salad that started it all at B’Gabs. It is so colorful, fresh, flavorful and crunchy!

Philly Uncheese Steak - Baaaaybeee this sandwich is big, saucy and such a treat. I tore this up and brought it home, where it was obliterated. You can get it made with either Beyond or Impossible vegan meat (I choose Impossible).

Spicy Nashville Sandwich - OMGEEEE this sandwich was so big and oh so bomb. You would not know this sandwich was made from mushrooms just by looking at it! It also has the perfect amount of kick/spiciness, in my opinion.

Have you been to B’Gabs lately (1450 E. 57th St in Chicago)? What’s your favorite menu item?
