One of my fave vegan restaurants in the Chicagoland area, Spirit Elephant, launched a NEW fast casual eatery called Elephant + Vine, so y’all know I had to pull up on them!
Metered street parking was easy to find. As soon as I walked in, I noticed the eye catching "Eat plants feel beautiful" neon green sign, the vibrant yet calming energy of the plants and space overall. The Elephant + Vine staff are a whole vibe! They greeted me and all the guests with smiles and awesome energy.
Elephant and Vine is located at 719 Church St in northern suburb, Evanston, Illinois, and offers plant-based eats from quick-n-clean salads and bowls, to a perfectly messy burger and fries.
Well I covered all the bases for yall! Here's what I enjoyed:
Strawberry Milkshake: This was bomb yall. A treat in real life. Not too sweet and usually I am not a fan of whipped cream, but I was all over this milk(less) shake!
The Buffalo Chik’n Sandwich: This yummy sandwich has a little kick and tastes so similar to regular chicken!
The Baja Burger: This was my fave! I'm such a burger kinda girl--what can I say?
The Big Katuna Wrap: I really enjoyed this chickpea wrap. Good flavors and you can dip it in their addictive and good-on-everything jalapeno lime sauce.
The BBQ Shroom Bowl: This bowl tasted good and clean! I am usually not a huge fan of barbeque sauce in general, so this wasn't my favorite, but I loved the texture of this bowl, the mushrooms, veggies and the hint of sweet with the fresh mango!
Elephant + Vine is opening their Lincoln Park location at the Lincoln Park Commons next month, so keep your eyes peeled!
Have you been to the new Elephant + Vine yet? If so, what did you try?
